Terms of service
Order Acceptance: By placing an order with OrchidBox, you agree to our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, pricing errors, or suspicious transaction activities.
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required for all orders. This deposit secures your order and is applied towards the final purchase price.
Limitation of Liability & Governing Law: Seller's liability is limited to the replacement of products or refund of the purchase price. Seller is not liable for damage to leaves, roots, appearance, or plant health post-delivery. Buyer is responsible for compliance with local biosecurity and quarantine restrictions. All transactions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Product Descriptions: We strive to provide accurate descriptions of our products. However, OrchidBox does not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the website are error-free. Plants shown are typically representations, and should not be construed as how the item will be received. See below for cosmetic guidelines and expectations.
Plant Size and Growth Expectations: Live plants can vary in size, shape, and color compared to images shown on the website. Growth expectations are provided based on ideal conditions, and actual growth can vary.
Bare Root Shipping Policy: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all of our plants are bare root import plants and shipped bare root. The exception to this policy is our Phalaenopsis Orchids, which may be shipped in sphagnum moss to support their delicate nature, and in-vitro plants. The choice of media for each plant type may vary. OrchidBox offers an acclimation service for a fee, please contact us before ordering.
Cosmetic Damage Guidelines and Expectations: We prioritize the health and vitality of our plants during shipping. However, because our plants are imported and shipped bare root, it is natural for plants to exhibit cosmetic damage upon arrival, such as leaf bruising or yellowing. This does not affect the overall health and future growth of the plant. For your reference, we have included images below to illustrate typical examples of the condition in which plants may arrive. This visual guide is intended to set realistic expectations of imported bare root plants.

While we do our best to ensure a damage-free arrival, damage ultimately should be expected. We do offer an acclimation service for a fee if you are not comfortable with bare-rooted plants, please contact us for more information about this service.
Tissue Cultured Plants: Our tissue cultured plants are shipped in-vitro and may vary in appearance from the example shown on our website, due to being juvenile cell-cultured plants.
